FINAL EXAMINATION
The exact procedure of the final examinations and the specific requirements are described in the Study Guide issued for the year of enrolment.

Requirements for being admitted to the final examination:
-
Acquisition of the credits and fulfillment of all requirements set in the qualification requirements and curriculum.
-
A thesis/final project evaluated and accepted by an opponent.
-
Completion of the mandatory internship.
Procedure of the final examination:
The thesis evaluation prepared by the opponent will be uploaded to the NEPTUN system.
Each student must take the final examination according to the curriculum valid for the year in which their studies began.
The oral final examination before the examination committee lasts approximately 30 minutes.
The final examination consists of two separate parts:
-
In the first part, the student defends their thesis:
-
A PowerPoint presentation consisting of 5–8 slides must be prepared for the defence.
-
A sample presentation can be found under the Downloads section.
-
Please bring the presentation on a USB drive to the final examination.
-
-
The second part is the comprehensive final examination, during which:
-
The committee holds a professional discussion with the student about the thesis and asks questions.
-
In this section, students often answer the questions raised by the opponent.
-
At the end of the final examination, the committee evaluates the student’s performance (both the comprehensive exam and the oral defence), and announces the grades received as well as the classification of the diploma.
The most important change:
Starting from the 2025/26/1 semester, there will be no separate subject-based exams or question lists!
The topics of the final examination cover the subject areas of the entire training program, and the committee may ask questions from any subject studied during the course.
